Ladies with Drive
One especially for the ladies..
John Andrew Ford and Mazda understand that maintaining your vehicle, including getting it serviced, may be a little intimidating. That’s why we hosted ‘Ladies with Drive’ - a fun evening for our female customers to learn about some of the mysteries surrounding vehicle maintenance.
On Tuesday December the 7th 2010, around 180 of our customers and their girlfriends came to a fun packed evening where they enjoyed award-winning SoHo wine, a delectable selection of tasty nibbles and were entertained by Matthew Ridge as the MC.
Professional advice included: how to change a tyre, how to check your oil and water, tips for grooming your car, what to do in the case of a flat battery and tips on car security. Guests were also able to time themselves changing a tyre and getting in and out of a Fiesta rally car!
‘Ladies with Drive’ was proudly sponsored by Beaurepaires, Castrol, Car-fe, SoHo Wine and The New Zealand Herald, all of whom generously provided fantastic spot prizes on the night.
Plus, on the evening the ladies entered a draw to win their choice of Ford or Mazda for the weekend including lunch for 2 at Soljans Estate Winery and Café. Jan Andrew was the lucky winner of this prize!
