Camp Quality
Camp Quality are dedicated to bringing fun, hope and happiness to the lives of children aged 5 to 16 living with cancer, their families and communities, through provision of high quality recreational experiences.
Their goal is to provide fun and comradeship combined with achievable challenges to encourage the children to focus on the positive aspects of their lives.
Camp Quality passionately believe in the power of fun to help children and their families overcome the challenges that cancer brings.
Each year, week long residential programmes in five locations throughout New Zealand are put on for the Camp Quality children. A safe and secure environment is provided by one-on-one supportive Companions and committed, well trained staff on all of the camping activities.
John Andrew Ford and Mazda have been involved with Camp Quality for the past two years. In March 2011, John Andrew Ford and Mazda hosted a Camp Quality Gala Dinner and Auction at the dealership, where over 200 people come along for a three course meal and to bid on some incredible auction items, all to raise money for Camp Quality. Just over $61,000 was raised for Camp Quality from the Gala Dinner and Auction which is an amazing achievement.
